Different kinds of Fish
We bought Finn a fish. It's a Betta named Alpha. Alphie for short. He likes him.
Finn has become quite the little scooter, spending much of his day working on his mobility. It won't be long before I spend my time chasing him about. He's already army crawled a number of times, and I don't think I have much longer before the real thing starts-- time to buy some baby gates!!! I'm excited for these new stages, but am also sad and wish for the snuggly little boy that slept on me so much in the early days. I suppose that is why people have so many babies... they can't get enough of just one. I get it now.
Grandma and Poppa were over today celebrating father's day (they were out of town on the official day) and they brought us some AWESOME garage sale toys. They include the strange circular rocking fish pictured below, and a plush rocking horse that nays and gallops. They are so cool, and I would have done just about anything for them when I was a kid. I'm excited to play with Finn on them. And as you can see when my sister stopped by later on, she and Tom couldn't either...

Video Links
On the lower portion of the left header bar you will notice a new link to Finn's videos. I've only posted a few from my camera, as I need to buy something else to be able to upload my video camera videos. But I will keep posting new ones for you to view as I take them, so be sure to check it once in a while!!! Enjoy!

Six Month Pictures
Look ma, I can fly!
Little smile.
Big smile.
This is my Jack Nicholson face. My grandpa had a Jack Nicholson face, too. I'm glad I take after him.
I think I'll be a beach bum when I grow up.
Where the hell is the REAL sand? I'm hungry.
I can't wait until we can afford a real tub. These outhouse baths are getting old.
Rub a Dub Dub! A little squirt in the tub!
Some people stick their foot in their mouth all the time, for me it's my hands that are the problem.
I am a handsome boy. Just ask my mommy.
Army Crawling. It's dirty business, but it gets me around.
This wooden horse has great gas mileage! You should try this!!
Hey! Did you forget to pay the color bill?!?!?!?!
Once again, if you want any please let me know what size and how many and I'd be happy to order them for you! And remember you can click on any image to make it bigger. Enjoy my boy!!!

Finn n Fiona
Well, I think we've discovered Baby's first love, and its a cat. Fiona is a gorgeous little feline who is only a few weeks old (I want to say 12) and Finn really took a shine to her. As she would rampage and twirl herself around on the furniture, Finn would watch, rapt with anticipation at her every move. He would laugh these adorable belly laughs over and over again each time she leapt or twirled for him, and the two were about the sweetest pair ever. Here are some pics to show you how cute it was. Too bad we're not allergic, or we would have HAD to get a kitty. I think his fascination with animals is adorable, and it extends so far, to dogs, cats, fish, and cicadas.
He didn't really like this part, and there were tears to follow shortly, but it makes for a great picture, as I think I captured his surprise.
Cutest Nap EVER
So, the other day Finn went to sleep in his crib on his side, as usual, facing the bumper. Well, when I went in to check on him I found that he had rolled himself on top of the stuffed frog's tummy for a more comfortable nap. It was so cute. The pictures really don't do it justice. He is just so sweet.
Swim Time
DAY #1-- The Experiment Begins
Okey-Dokey, I'm all dressed and ready to go! Let's try this swimming thing I've heard so much about!!!!
What the h*ll! This is cold and wet and I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!
DAY #2--The Successful Conclusion
Hey, this isn't so bad today. It's warmer, and I like this wet stuff. Kind of like the tub.
Don't I look stylin' in my sun glasses? Daddy thinks so.
SPLISH SPLASH!! Daddy has a question, but I don't know what it is.
There's my mommy, and she feeds me with those big things. Don't make fun! She hates wearing her bathing suit, but she did it for me. Like my shirt? Spank me, I'm Irish. I don't like it one bit!
Look ma, no hands!
Today Finn stood up from a crouched position between my legs with no support. He didn't even fall over right away!!! He's been standing more and more, and I think I'm going to have one mobile little critter on my hands soon. Here is another pic of his progress crawling. We're not quite there yet, but as you can see he's got the strength and the form down. We just need to keep working on the coordination.

Finn's new Friend
So, we'll see how long Bromo tolerates this-- but since Murrey always keeps out of reach, Bromo has become Finn's newest obsession. He LOVES him, and as you can see here, has discovered his tail. He can't seem to comprehend that it can move independent of the rest of Bromo-- I think he assumes it's a different entity altogether. Anyway, it's super sweet to see Finn pine after the dogs so much, only to have them walk away annoyed. Ahh, rejection in it's earliest form. Just wait until you start dating, buddy.
